At PIKA. Digital, we’re looking for someone who can capture the most compelling ideas and turn them into copy. If you are a creative person who can adapt their voice and aren’t afraid to be a little controversial – we may have a job for you.

Necessary skills:

Previous experience in copywriting / any kind of writing

Excellent written and verbal Slovenian

Excellent written and verbal English

Excellent organisational skills

Self-initiating

Adaptable and a fast learner

Tech savvy

Attention to detail

Honesty and integrity

Good to have, but not necessary:

Previous experience in marketing

Previous experience in an agency-type job

Efficiency while using all tools at your disposal

Knowledge of what businesses and customers want

Analytical skills

Understanding of marketing terms

Ability to perform on camera or in front of an audience

Ability to look at a screen for 7+ hours a day

A large book collection 🙂

What you’ll (largely) be doing:

Social media content creation: Prepare copy for posts for various social media platforms, including Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, and LinkedIn.
SEO-Optimized Writing: Create SEO-optimized articles and similar forms of content.
E-mails: Prepare and execute email marketing campaigns.
Creative guidelines: Draft instructions for images that graphic designers create.
Video ad scripts: Prepare guidelines for short video ad creation for platforms like Facebook, Instagram, and TikTok.
Research & analysis: Research and understand why certain ads are successful or unsuccessful.
Creative thinking: Create out of the box, provocative or even basic ideas.
Strategic planning: Develop short and long-term marketing communication strategies for clients.
Collaborating: Work and communicate with other team members and sometimes even clients.

We’ll be honest – you’ll often be asked to do something that may not be on this list (but always within the range of your abilities!). Copywriting is a very dynamic job and two tasks are rarely the same.
